WASHINGTON – The White House announced today that President Trump will introduce new plans to combat America’s opioid epidemic. The Director of the White House Domestic Policy Council, Andrew Bremberg, told reporters that part of those plans include serious penalties for drug traffickers.

Trump recently told a Pennsylvania audience, “Thousands of people are killed or their lives are destroyed, their families are destroyed. So you can kill thousands of people and go to jail for 30 days,” Trump said. This rhetoric was only talk and tweets by the President until announcing today that this will be the first time this becomes part of an official administration plan. Bremberg told reporters, “the Justice Department will not wait for Congress to propose possible legislation on the matter and will be “examining how to move ahead to make sure that this is done appropriately.”

When threatened by Democrats to challenge this proposal, a meeting was held with Trump and senior officials at the White House to come up with a resolution to this. Hashtag Fake News spoke with one senior administration official who reported that “the democrats have agreed to the legislation as long as Pharmaceutical CEOs who’ve been pushing addictive narcotic medication are first on the execution list.” The official went on to tell HFN that Trump was “very impressed” with that proposal and was able to close the deal with the Democrats.

A bipartisan “Extermination List” was assembled and begins with two executives from Purdue Pharma, the company that produces the highly addictive painkiller, Oxycontin. In 2007 Purdue Pharma’s president, Michael Friedman, top lawyer, Howard Udell, and former medical director, Dr. Paul Goldenheim, pleaded guilty in federal court to criminal charges that they had misled doctors and patients when claiming that the drug was less likely to be abused than traditional narcotics. They were never sentenced to prison time, but were Ordered to pay $600 million in fines and payments to a variety of federal and state agencies. Udell was spared the public execution since he died in 2013.

Trump stated that Federal agents will round up those wanted for execution and house them until a public execution occurs, no more than 15 days after they are apprehended. A stage will be assembled on the North lawn of the White House and will include seating for VIP attendees. The executions will air on Public Broadcasting Service live at noon and will rerun again at 6pm Eastern Standard time.
Hashtag Fake News will bring any updates on this story as they develop.
